A patient having a cardiac arrest can be an extremely stressful event for all concerned. The opportunity to practice the essential technical skills and human factors required to manage such an emergency in a ‘safe environment’ is invaluable to all members of the healthcare team. The manikin can be placed in any clinical area (adult or paediatric), our Faculty ‘declare the emergency’ and then let the team take over and do the rest.
