Flu Pandemic Training

We are currently developing three courses targeting different staffing groups within the NHS in response to the current flu pandemic alert. These courses are targeted at ensuring Critical Care areas are prepared and address some of the issues of caring for Critical care patients outside of a Critical Care Unit.

Welcome

Welcome to the official web site for the Montagu Clinical Simulation Centre (MCSC). Through this web site we hope to stimulate interest & answer some of your questions relating to Yorkshire's state of the art Clinical Simulation Centre.

Ambulance

The centre, based at Montagu Hospital in Mexborough South Yorkshire, opened in March 2003. In partnership with the Yorkshire & Humber Strategic Health Authority, the centre offers multi-professional training concentrating on the important areas of crisis management, team training and communication skills for those involved in NHS clinical practice.  Since April 2008 the centre offers training to all of the Yorkshire and the Humber region, please check each individual course to see which are currently available in your area.
