Simulation for Acute Advanced Care Practitioners (ACP’s)

Course Information

This one day course allows Acute Care Advanced Care/Nurse Practitioners to practice the management of acutely unwell patients in the simulated environment. It explores the interactions of clinical staff with their team and their environment.

Based on simulated scenarios, the course aims to demonstrate and improve non-technical skills such as leadership, communication, team working and decision making.

The course uses a high-fidelity adult manikin and audio-visual feedback to assist supportive debriefing and is open to any Advanced Care/Nurse Practitioners in the South Yorkshire locality with courses run at Montagu Clinical Simulation Centre, Mexborough. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis so please book your place now to avoid disappointment.
